What is Rotary?
Rotary is an international humanitarian service organization. Rotarians are business and
professional leaders who volunteer their time and resources to help others in their local
communities and throughout the world.
Rotary International comprises over 1 million members from over 25,000 Rotary clubs in 173 nations and geographical areas throughout the world. Rotary is the world's oldest service organization, founded in 1905 by Paul Harris, a Chicago attorney who wanted to encourage among his business acquaintances the fellowship he had known in his boyhood days in a small town in Vermont.
Service and fellowship are the hallmarks of Rotary and Rotarians Worldwide. The Rotary motto is "Service Above Self."
Rotarians must accept and practice the "FOUR-WAY TEST" of the things they think, say, or do:

Doug Armstrong (right). Melissa is a Rotary Group Study Exchange (GSE) team
member leaving for South Korea. Melissa is sponsored by our Club. While in
South Korea the team will visit other Rotary districts and clubs, and various
businesses. GSE is another of Rotary International's activities to have people of other
